October 19, 2024Day 1-3: Nainital (2 Nights)
- Day 1: Arrival in Nainital
- Arrive in Nainital, a beautiful hill station known for its lakes and panoramic mountain views. After checking in at your hotel, take a leisurely stroll around Naini Lake and enjoy a boat ride. In the evening, explore Mall Road, known for shopping and dining options.

- Day 2: Explore Nainital
- Start your day with a visit to the famous Naina Devi Temple, which sits on the northern shore of Naini Lake.
- Afterward, take a ride on the Nainital Ropeway to Snow View Point, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Nanda Devi and Trishul peaks.
- Later, visit Tiffin Top for a scenic hike and panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. In the evening, visit the Nainital Zoo to see some rare species of Himalayan wildlife, or enjoy a walk in The Flats.

Day 4-5: Ranikhet (1 Night)
- Day 3: Travel to Ranikhet
- After breakfast, depart for Ranikhet, located about 56 km from Nainital (approx. 2 hours). Ranikhet, known as the Queen’s Meadow, is famous for its lush greenery, quiet surroundings, and colonial charm.
- Highlights: On arrival, visit the Jhula Devi Temple and Chaubatia Gardens, known for their variety of fruit orchards and stunning views of the Himalayan range. Spend the evening walking through the serene Ranikhet Golf Course, one of the highest golf courses in India.
- Overnight stay in Ranikhet.
- Day 4: Explore Ranikhet
- After breakfast, visit the Mankameshwar Temple, a serene spot maintained by the Indian Army. Afterward, you can explore the Army Museum that highlights the history of the Kumaon Regiment.
- Spend the afternoon walking through the pine forests and relaxing in the peaceful environment.
- Overnight stay in Ranikhet.
Day 6-7: Kausani (1 Night)
- Day 5: Travel to Kausani
- Travel to Kausani, located about 60 km from Ranikhet (approx. 2 hours). Known as the Switzerland of India, Kausani offers stunning 180-degree panoramic views of the Himalayas, especially the peaks of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Panchachuli.
- Highlights: Visit the Anasakti Ashram, also known as Gandhi Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi stayed for a brief period. Explore Rudradhari Waterfall and caves, a beautiful natural spot ideal for light trekking.
- In the evening, take a walk to Sumitranandan Pant Gallery, dedicated to the famous Hindi poet born in Kausani, and enjoy the peaceful sunset.
- Overnight stay in Kausani.
- Day 6: Sunrise at Kausani
- Wake up early to witness the stunning sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
- Later, visit the Baijnath Temple complex, located near the Gomti River, famous for its historical and religious significance. You can also visit Kausani Tea Estate to learn about tea production and sample some locally grown tea.
- Overnight stay in Kausani.
Day 8-9: Journey Back
- Day 8: Start your journey back towards your home destination, with a stop in Almora if time permits.
- Almora is known for its traditional Kumaoni culture and scenic landscapes. You can visit Bright End Corner or Kasar Devi Temple, which is located in a quiet, forested area offering serene views of the valley.
- Day 9: Travel back, concluding your 9-day trip filled with the natural beauty and tranquility of Uttarakhand’s hill stations.
